Oceanside citizen Eric Lido was the recipient of selective and retaliatory felony criminal prosecution, because he opposed the election fraud by the Oceanside Police and Fire Departments in 2009.

The Oceanside Police and Fire Public Unions election fraud conspiracy succeeded with the election of hired gun Charles Lowery to the City Council. Lowery promptly joined corrupt Mayor Wood and Corrupt Deputy Mayor Sanchez by approving the new expanded multi-million dollar union contract, while citizens were already million in debt with the existing contract.

Charles Lowery's re-election failure in November 2010 was obstructing the Police and Fire Union's conspiracy to loot the Oceanside City Treasury. This failure prompted a new round of vote buying and conspiracy with Mayor Jim Wood and Deputy Mayor Esther Sanchez, to expand the fraud of struggling Oceanside citizens.

Court documents state that Officer Gilbert Garcia was ordered by Chief McCoy, Capt. Grigsby, and Sgt. Norton to obstruct justice by destroying audio tape evidence, and suppressing the DUI criminal investigation of police Sgt. David Larson. The Obstruction of Justice was part of an ongoing conspiracy to protect election fraud by police and firefighters, and to cover up large scale evidence tampering with the DA's office.

Oceanside Officer Damon Smith Evidence Tampering Conspiracy & Cover Up
The criminal monkey wrench from left field that no one expected in the middle of the Police & Fire election fraud conspiracy.
In 2001 Officer Smith was fired from the police academy for incompetence, and then Smith extorted his way back onto the police department with a large financial claim against the City of Oceanside, and accusations of racial and sexual discrimination against white female police officers.
Upon reinstatement to the Oceanside police department Officer Damon Smith, like most officers, adopted the practice of covertly recording criminal investigations for the next eight years. Police reports were falsified to hide the existence of the audio tapes, and they were hidden from the criminal justice system throughout the eight year long evidence tampering spree, and Smith was not the only officer involved.

Oceanside Officer Jon Domonique's criminally negligent field investigation in February 2009, resulted in the false felony arrest of an innocent man named Mike Shields. Once again critical police audio tape statement evidence, that would clear Mr. Shields, and later prove Obstruction of Justice and Evidence Tampering by Oceanside Police, was hidden. Officer's Domonique's police report was falsified to hide the existence of the audio tape. The cover up of Officer Domoniques evidence tampering, was to protect other, on going criminal operations in the San Diego County District Attorneys Office, the Oceanside Police and Fire Departments election fraud, and the Oceanside City Council supporting corruption.
SGT. MARCO MENDOZA ASSAULT CONSPIRACY TO PROTECT EVIDENCE TAMPERING CORRUPTION
Sgt. Mendoza criminally conspired with two other Oceanside Police Officers, and Mayor Jim Wood (Retired OPD) to assault and kidnap citizens from the Oceanside City Council Chambers, to silence public complaints about Police and City Council Criminal Corruption.

Oceanside Police Internal Affairs Division is used by the Oceanside Police Department to obstruct and suppress criminal complaints involving Police Officers, District Attorneys, and their financial and political supporters.
Complaints against Oceanside police officers involved in criminal conduct, submitted to internal affairs are never heard from again. IA uses state laws on privacy of peace officers, to suppress all information on all complaints. All allegations of criminal wrong doing are buried, whenever possible.
Sgt. Ron Hardy, Head Of The OPD Internal Affairs Division, Suppressed A Witness, And Obstructed Justice In IA Investigations Of Criminal Corruption
Sgt. Ron Hardy, head of Internal Affairs for the Oceanside Police Department, was suppose to investigate Officer Damon Smith. Instead Sgt. Hardy suppressed a credible witness, to the involvement of other Oceanside Police Officers, in the eight years of continuous evidence tampering in criminal investigations. Sgt Hardy was even coordinating press control with Suspect Officer Damon Smith.

Oceanside Police Chief Frank McCoy is the SENIOR DIRTY COP in Oceanside, and Chief McCoy actively obstructs all criminal and misconduct complaints, involving Oceanside Police Officers, District Attorneys, Corrupt Council Members, and all their political and financial supporters. McCoy actively conspired with member of the Oceanside City Council, Police Officers, and Fire Departments union personnel to tamper with an election to increase pay and benefits, and to cover up massive police evidence tampering.

On December 16, 2010, after a series of family disputes, Brenda McCoy, wife of Oceanside Police Chief Frank McCoy phoned the Cypress Police to tell them she need help. When Cypress Police arrived at the McCoy residence they found Brenda McCoy armed with a semi-automatic gun, and she opened fire on the Cypress Police Officers.
